so there has been traveling. down South and out west. to see the coast, the moss fields, the prehistoric dirt of time too broad and wide to fathom. ultimately, these 'vacations' have been exercises in coming to terms with the humbling the Larger world will slam down on a person.
there are kinds of emptiness, kinds of Wildness, and the palette of the empty places thrills through the smallness of humanity fueling all kinds of new unsung words, praises and songs.
too there have been glorious visits in exquisitely green places with exquisitely beautiful and talented friends which is a balm on any weary traveler braving the tarmac or the endless highway.

...and feasting of course
all in all, highly restorative. good to come, good to return. a person can be so lucky with even a limp and mostly empty backpack and tireless walking feet.
